Only 15 wks to go!
Here is what Baby Center says is new with Baby:Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — a pound and a half — doesn't sound like much, but he's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. His hair is probably recognizable now (in color and texture), although both may change after he's born.
Boy, oh boy am I feeling Baby move more! And I can tell he/she is getting bigger! I know from here out Baby will keep growing, and so will I. I am getting nervous and excited to meet Baby. I think I am in denial about the whole labor thing. Mentally, I am not ready. I have held a few newborns lately and instead of thinking how little they are, I think "ah, they're huge! I know how they come out... and this is big!" I am sure drugs will help, but I do not want to hear any more birth stories! Everyone is different, so we are praying mine is not a horror story!
I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow and am not sure if I will be having the glucose test or not... I am sure it must be soon. Also, I know I will soon start by twice a month visits... which is another indicator of how much closer I am getting!
I think this weekend we may finally finish cleaning out Baby's room and paint. The rest of the furniture is in and we need to go pick it up. We can't put anything together though until we finish the walls and floor! No pressure! Our house is just too little to store everything in another room!
And I think this is stress... I know, just wait!
